IKEA ‘Maradona’

At AMV, David Abbott asked my partner Greg Martin and I to work on the IKEA Summer Sale brief.

Our task was purely to make memorable the dates of the sale.

It was World Cup year and so, with the help of photographer, digital specialist and good friend Mike Russell, we doctored this image of Diego Maradona lifting the previous World Cup.

A few months later, just like Diego, we were lifting a trophy or two of our own.
